My CM journey began at Philips inspired by a foundational book. Moore encouraged me to write about CM for startups, which I’m currently developing.
Joseph Anderson, in a recent webinar, discussed the “Fail Fast/Fix-it Fast” approach and its misapplication in the medical device sector, leading to quality escapes. He emphasized the need for proper design verification and quality checks during development to prevent defects. A more effective approach would be “Detect Fast, Fix-it Fast” to ensure product reliability and consumer safety.
On November 19, Martin Haket and Martijn Dullaart hosted the CM Game at SemproConX19 in Ankara, Turkey, with over 120 participants in 16 teams, marking the largest event of its kind. The experience was energetic and enjoyable, with gratitude expressed to Semiha Yasar and Ezgi Kalaycioglu for their support.
